The Parish Council has been contacted by several people who are concerned about work being carried out at Lower Hayton. The Parish Clerk has been in contact with the agent for the farmer and has been informed that the work, which I understand is now complete, is to produce a bio-fertiliser lagoon and the work has been carried out under permitted development and does not require planning permission. Cllr Cecilia Motley, Shropshire Councillor for the Corvedale is aware of the situation. The matter will be placed on the agenda for the next Parish Council meeting on the 16th September to allow councillors to discuss the potential increase in traffic and the environmental impact of the lagoon.
