Emergency Vehicle Access

If you live in the Titterhill and Haytons Bent you will be aware that another ambulance got stuck on Titterhill trying to access Haytons Bent.  The Parish Council has asked Shropshire Council to improve the signs especially at the bottom of Titterhill but this is complicated as emergency vehicles still need to access the properties on Titterhill.

After discussions with the Ambulance Service after a previous incident they advised that residents could write to them asking that their properties are accessed via Chapel Bank rather than Titterhill as the Satnav's direct them.

An example letter has been attached for you to use.  They will then keep it your file for three years and ambulances should then be directed to use Chapel Bank rather than Titterhill.
